Nicole Martin, CEO of the anti-vampire Daedalus Corporation, is kidnapped by wild vampires intent on securing her help—one way or another—in rescuing one of their own from the clutches of the company she’s only just begun to run. When she’s brought to the vampires’ secret compound, where her family name is reviled and nearly everyone wishes her dead, she thinks her worst nightmare has come true. But aside from one escape attempt, Nicole falls quickly into cooperating with the vampires, even to the point of saving a vampire’s life rather than abandoning him and escaping. From there, her emotional connection to one of her captors develops at a lightning-fast pace, with the erotic connection coming out of left field.
