      Torian Brackett's joyful, ebullient narration sets the tone for this YA novel. Queer, Black besties Harrison and Linus have been each other's family for years. When Linus announces that he's moving away from Baltimore, Harrison decides what they need to cement their friendship is one perfect day in the city. What follows is a heartfelt, hilarious, and moving exploration of friendship, anxiety, art, history, family, queerness, and more. Brackett switches between Linus and Harrison's points of view with ease, giving each teen a voice that suits their character. Linus's voice is deeper, more reserved, and often amused. Harrison's has a tendency to get high and loud--especially when he's excited, happy, or nervous.
